ACCESS DENIED

Get to work today and find out the Marketing side wants to have some of it's machines moved around. Eventually I decide to go do it. Get there and kick everyone off there machines quickly move the boxes around power them up and leave. Noting down the changes so that I can update my IP Table and infrastructure diagram and to do something horrible to them all for making me do manual labour

I finally decided it was time to recall all the unused equipment on the Administration side, 6 people left last week, I like to think its cause of me. So I spent most of the morning doing that.

I return to my desk Now labeled and Dubed Command and Control Central Computer Station (CCCCS). Behold I see on my screen an IM from Base LUSER 192.168.0.123 "What Kind Of A HALF JOB are you doing here?" I sit for a moment and contemplate my response. "What appears to be the problem?" "Oh no its fine all sorted" "Such are my amazing IT Power" >close Window< >window opens<* "WE SET IT UP OURSELVES" sigh should have left it alone. I felt that .123 has irritated me enough to warrant getting up and her suffering alone is not sufficient. I rise up from CCCCS and slowly and unnoticebly walk over to the mains pannel and kill the power to marketing. I then wedge the panel closed and go bother the vending guy refilling the machine.

I idle my time there until i hear the phone stops ringing at CCCCS then return. .123 apears shortly after this. "WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE POWER!?" I look at her blankly. I then hand her a copy of my CV. She looks at it and throws it back on my desk. I stare at the scattered papers. she screeches "WHAT DO I WANT YOUR CV FOR!?" still staring sadly at my fallen CV I replied "Well, if you had taken the time to look at it you would see that I have IT Qualifications and no Electrical ones, making me the wrong choice of person to answer your question" she opens her mouth, shuts it and storms away.

I log a call with maintenance to come check the Mains Pannel as it apears to be jammed shut, and Take my Lunch.
